If you make changes to your account, you may see prorated charges. Anytime there is a change to your services, for example adding or removing a premium channel (like HBO or Showtime) or an additional cable box, you may see prorated charges on your statement.
These charges are for the use of service from the date of change until the end of the current billing period. For example, if your service began on June 15 and the Summit Broadband billing period ends on June 30, you will be charged for the days your service was active instead of the full month.
