SBB TV | Pairing the TiVo remote with the EVO Force1 set-top box

Regardless of whether you have the Brook Pro or the Brook WOR remote control, pairing with the EVO Force1 STB (set-top box) follows the same steps depending on whether the remote is brand new (has never been paired with an STB) or if the remote was previously paired with a different STB and is being paired with a new one.

Steps

Pairing a new remote

1. Press and hold the TiVo Button for 3 seconds.
2. Wait for the Activity Light to flash amber to indicate pairing is successful, then release the button.
3. If the Activity Light flashes red instead, pairing was unsuccessful.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 if necessary.

Pairing old remote with new STB

1. Press and hold the TiVo Button and Back Button at the same time for 3 seconds.
2. Wait for the Activity Light to flash amber to turn red to indicate the remote is pairing.
3. Release the buttons.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 if necessary.
