FAQ
Will I lose access to the CBS Network?
No. CBS and your local CBS affiliate will continue to be on your channel lineup. This change only impact CBS On Demand programming.
How can I access CBS On Demand Content?
You can find CBS programming on your schedule by going through one of two online portals: CBS.com (https://www.cbs.com/) and Paramount + (https://www.paramountplus.com/). These can be accessed from a computer or downloaded on many mobile and Smart TV platforms. Check your device app store for availability.
Why did Summit Broadband drop CBS Video On Demand content?
We were unable to negotiate an agreement to continue offering this content. The channels that we offer are owned by media companies other than Summit Broadband, which means that we need to pay those companies in order to bring their channels and content to our customers. We actively negotiate contracts with these media companies to obtain rights to carry their channels, on-demand content, and streaming apps on our platforms. Summit Broadband has successfully renegotiated hundreds of expiring contracts over the years and rarely experiences an interruption of service.
