This article provides guidance on running network scans with the techFiX app, including what you should expect to see and a few pointers to capture the best possible information.
Running a Scan
- Main Screen. From the main screen, select that you wish to run a network scan.

Move Phone to Router. Move your phone within 3 - 10 feet (1-3 meters) of your router. Then click I MOVED IT, and choose Yes on the confirmation popup that appears.

Scan in Progress. This screen displays until the scan is complete (~2 mins). Do not touch their phone during this step.
NOTE: If you minimize the app, you will have to restart the scan. -
Network Scan Results. This screen shows the quality of connections on your network. It can be used again after taking any recommended measures to verify when connection quality has improved.
