Sometimes issues with a DTA can be resolved with a simple power cycle, which means disconnecting the unit from power for a few seconds and plugging it back in. Your DTA is like a computers that processes signals from Summit Broadband. To power cycle this equipment, follow these steps.
- Disconnect the unit from power. You can either unplug the power cable from the wall, or if it's easier to reach you can disconnect the power cord from the back of the DTA.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the unit to power. Plug the cable back into the wall or reconnect it to the back of the DTA.
- Turn the DTA on using the Summit Broadband remote.
